David Ritchie
President, Science Fair Chair

David’s background is in finance and technology.  He is a successful entrepreneur, having founded, developed and sold CodeLab Technology Group, a financial systems application company.  David is currently employed by Zafin and has a son attending Swampscott Middle School.  David reinvigorated SEF in 2005 when he spearheaded, along with Joe Tribendis, its transformation from SUCCESS.  David also initiated the return of the Science Fair to Swampscott two years ago.    


Susan Sinrich
Vice President

Susan is a married mother of three, all of whom have gone through the Swampscott School system and are now in college or have graduated college. She has been a Realtor a Jack Conway Realtors for the past nine years and previously owned her own business. Susan has a bachelors degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned her MBA in 2009.


Ina-Lee Block
Marketing, Grants Committee

Ina-Lee has been a major contributor to SEF for twenty years. Ina-Lee received an MBA from Harvard and worked as a director at Harvard Pilgrim for over a decade. Ina-Lee is married to Larry Block, who is about to retire after serving on Swampscott’s Board of Health for 14 years. Together they raised three children, each of whom were educated in the Swampscott public schools. Ina-Lee currently works with a college admissions counselor, was one of the local founders of the North Shore Teen Initiative and has extensive non-profit management and volunteer experience.


Sarah Kent
Grants Committee

Sarah is a life-long educator and currently serves as the STEM Coordinator for Chelsea Public Schools. She started as an ESL sheltered immersion teacher and moved to being an elementary school math coach for 12 years in Chelsea. She lives in Swampscott with her husband and son. Sarah also served on the Clarke PTA for several years.


Ann Ayala Macey
School Liaison Coordinator

Ann is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the University of Rochester. She is currently the STEM Coordinator at a local non-profit. Prior to serving in this role, she worked in financial services as a liaison between pension and sovereign funds based outside the United States and a money management firm. She also served as a Teach for America Corps Member in Houston, TX. She is currently a Board Member of the Stanley School PTO and has also served as a board member of the East Boston Ecumenical Community Counsel and as a Connector with Boston World Partnerships, along with being a mom of two Stanley fourth graders.


Tara Myslinski
Soiree Committee and Board Development

Tara is a business litigation attorney and lives in Swampscott with her husband Don Giard and two children, who currently attend Stanley. Tara graduated from Boston College Law School and spearheaded the first two annual Summer Soiree fundraisers for the Foundation. Tara is active in the Boston legal community and chairs the Women in the Courtroom Committee for the Women’s Bar Association. In her spare time, Tara enjoys reading, painting, hiking, running, and spending time at the beach with her kids.


Preston Lemanski
Corporate Sponsorship Committee

Preston lives in Swampscott with his wife Julie and two children. His son is in pre-school and his daughter attends Stanley. Preston owns a local residential construction company that specializes in high-end additions and renovations. Preston is an avid sports fan who enjoys golfing, skiing, exercising, and spending time with his family.


Megan Meleg
Accounting and Financial Reporting

Megan moved recently to Swampscott from Ohio, where she obtained her BS and MBA from the University of Dayton. Megan’s son attends Hadley and she has two younger children who will join her son soon at Hadley. She has an accounting, audit and finance background and currently works for Synventive, an SBU of Barnes Group, which requires her to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time. Megan spends her spare time with her family enjoying the local treasures of Swampscott and surrounding areas throughout New England from the beach and other outdoor activities to historical sites and community organizations such as the YMCA.


Tatiana Klimova

Tatiana Klimova has a degree in Public Relations and has 10 years of experience in communications. She also has several years of working and volunteering experience in charitable foundations in Russia. Tatiana has been living with her family in Swampscott since 2014, her son is in Kindergarten at Clarke school. Tatiana is working on her Masters degree in Nonprofit Management program at Northeastern University.


Joe Tribendis
Past SEF President, Grants Committee

Joe Tribendis has over 20 years of experience in corporate development, strategic planning, new business development, sales and marketing, and technology management. Joe is currently a partner in Ventura Group LLC, an investment banking consulting firm. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and then earned Masters and Doctorate degrees from MIT. He lives in Swampscott with his wife Susan and triplet daughters, who attend the Swampscott Middle School.


Chris Winter
Grants Committee and Science Fair Coach

Chris has lived in Swampscott since 2010 with his wife Lynn and two children. Chris is a cancer research scientist currently working as Head of Discovery Biology for Sanofi. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications. Chris also dedicates his time to training and mentoring junior scientists, supporting science education locally and internationally, and coaching kids’ lacrosse.


KC Cucchi
Soiree Committee, Project Management

KC moved to Swampscott, from Salem, in 2014 and looks forward to her daughter entering kindergarten at Stanley next fall. KC’s background is in scientific clinical research project management. She has worked for Brigham & Women’s Hospital on sleep research and on various other highly specialized projects in fields including cardiovascular disease and diabetic and genetic research. KC has volunteered extensively as a grant writer and researcher for Girls on the Run, a non-profit with the mission of empowering young girls through physical exercise and goal setting. She also enjoys spending time with her family, running, sailing and photography.


Janell Cameron

Janell has served on SEF’s board of directors since its inception. She is currently the Clerk, but has also served as SEF’s President in the past. Janell is the Administrative Assistant at the Hadley School and has worked for the schools for twenty years. Her two sons successfully went through the Swampscott Schools and Sports programs. Janell is also very involved in several other town boards, including by serving on the board of the new and successful Farmer’s Market, dressing up as the Easter Bunny for the Recreation Dept., and organizing the Town's Fourth of July Parade and Strawberry Festival, just to name a few. She is a lifelong resident and loves Swampscott!
